This is not a conference. It's not a one-size-fits-all workshop in a hotel ballroom. It's an intentionally small, deeply personal two-day experience on a working flower farm in Nova Scotia where the views are staggering, the flowers are endless, and you'll leave with new skills, portfolio-worthy photos, and friendships that last well beyond the weekend.
Day One — The Farm
Your first day begins where it all starts: in the field.
We'll walk the farm together for a real behind-the-scenes look at how a working cut flower operation comes to life season by season. You'll see the growing, the harvesting, the systems, and the stories behind the blooms. This is the part most people never get to see, and it changes the way you think about realistic cut flower production.
From there, we move into our studio space inside a century-old barn, where the real magic begins for hands-on wedding floral design instruction, covering the construction of bridal bouquets across multiple styles, wearables, and the mechanics of professional wedding work. Integrated throughout the day is business instruction covering wedding flower pricing strategy, profit margin analysis, cost of goods calculation, the development of an à la carte pricing system, client communication best practices, booking workflows, proposal writing, and contract fundamentals.
Breakfast and lunch are included, so all you need to bring is yourself and your excitement.
Day Two — The Venue
On day two we head out to a stunning local wedding venue, where we work together as a creative team to build something truly breathtaking.
You'll contribute to a full wedding tablescape and a large-scale floral installation. It's kind of work that stops people mid-scroll, and because your work deserves to be seen, we'll have models on site so that the designs you created on day one can be photographed beautifully for your portfolio.

We'll close out the retreat the only way that feels right: a sunset dinner together, celebrating everything we created, everything we learned, and the community we built over two unforgettable days.
